The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 80 has been a feature of Midland life since 1927.

Veteran's Services

Legion services for Veterans and their families

The Legion provides a range of services and supports for Veterans, their families and dependents. In addition to directly assisting Veterans and their families with the disability claims process through Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), the Legion offers a variety of programs, resources and referrals to support Veteran health, transition to civilian life, financial assistance and well-being.

Have your next event in our Banquet Hall.

The Legion Hall is perfect for your Corporate Event, Celebration of Life, Wedding Reception or as your weekly meeting space.
Available for rent on a one-time or regular basis, we offer a fully private Banquet Hall (5500 sq ft, fits 200 persons comfortably).

Ladies Auxiliary

The Branch 80 Ladies’ Auxiliary is a non-profit organization separate from The Royal Canadian Legion, which supports and enriches the programs and activities of the branch, providing financial and volunteer support to the branch and to Legion-wide events, objectives, and programs.

Our Museum

The Ken Snider Memorial Museum (located behind the Howitzer near Branch 80) is open to the public twice weekly during the summer or in other seasons by appointment. Containing information and exhibits about the Armed Forces in the Midland area from both World Wars and after, the highlight of the museum is a 1942 Chevrolet Truck.
